About me.

I am happily married Mother of 4 grown up sons. I had a nursing career for 40 years. I have always enjoyed painting and gardening.

In 2012 I was inspired at a workshop by Peter Dolbear to paint loose and colourful watercolours.

Since then I have been experimenting with all media and thoroughly enjoying myself!

I have been fortunate to exhibit at The RUH Bath and The Oriel Gallery at The National Botanical Gardens of Wales. I currently exhibit at Handle House Gallery, Devizes. My work has been selected for The Pound open, The Oexman, Trowbridge Town Arts, Salisbury Open Exhibition and Swindon Museum and Art Gallery exhibitions.

The National Trust magazine have published my work on two occasions. Galleries Magazine featured me in 2018.

I am inspired by the impressionists use of colour and light, and I am enjoying the freedom of making marks and texture in my current artwork.
