Kitchen Solstice
For a few minutes at the solstice the light reached a dark corner of my kitchen , I loved the reflections on my hob.
This was a real challenge to capture as the light went within 10 minutes and did not reach this area after a few days.

Getting There
I gave this painting the title because that's how I felt about my painting career. This is what I am aiming for, some drama, intriguing colour use, lots of different marks, blended and sharp edges.
