Month: August 2018
We visited the Monet and Architecture exhibition in London which inspired this painting.
Out the back, on a beautiful day wonder the shade of an apple tree. Love plein air painting
The trees meeting over my local lane remind me of cathedral arches, with the light divided as by a mullioned window.
I really enjoyed splashing the acrylic paint on for this extremely loose painting.
Larger than usual at 60 x 75 cms and using very limited colours is has loads of life and a mystical feel.
How to stay cool Italian style, a little breeze and lots of shade.
Watercolour, needs to be viewed fully in my gallery titled Black.
Warm colours depict the heat. Lovely shapes and shadows through this old grove.
An olive grove in Italy. Square format- this does not do it justice, heavily textured and loosely painted.
Very pleased to be featured in Galleries National Magazine
